42CDKX Dark Kiwi High Contrast - Outlaw Series

The 42CDKX is engineered from two of our most proven low- to mid-light filters—the 92CIL and 53CIK—serving as the foundation for a newly enhanced spectral curve designed for brighter, diffused lighting conditions. This lens bridges the gap between mid-light and full sun performance, delivering exceptional visibility when light is bright but lacks direct intensity.

Specifically tuned for white and grey sky conditions—where cloud cover creates a flat, washed-out environment—the 42CDKX addresses one of the most challenging visual scenarios shooters face. In these conditions, the eye can struggle with target recognition as ambient light and target hue begin to blend, creating a “white-out” effect that makes it difficult to track flight, distance, and trajectory.

To combat this, the 42CDKX incorporates CMX3 technology to lift and enhance orange wavelengths, restoring contrast and clarity to the sight picture. The result is superior target registration with improved definition and separation, even in visually confusing light.

This lens also excels with lime green targets in brighter conditions, while maintaining outstanding performance on traditional orange targets—making it a highly versatile option across target presentations.
