This ZEISS and Pilla patented lens is built on the concept of color shifting, engineered to give shooters a distinct visual advantage in challenging light conditions. Rather than enhancing orange, this lens transforms orange targets into dark grey or black, dramatically increasing contrast against bright, washed-out backgrounds.

In situations where targets are presented against white or grey skies—such as bright sun or reflective environments—the eye can struggle to precisely define the target. This lens solves that problem by converting the orange dome into a darker visual profile, allowing the target to “flash” with stronger definition and improving recognition speed.

The result is maximum contrast and improved target acquisition, particularly in conditions where traditional color-enhancing lenses can lose effectiveness.

Built with Chromashift, ICE, and High Contrast technologies, this lens is optimized for open field and snow environments under full sun and mid-yellow light. Its blue base further enhances contrast and separation, delivering a crisp, highly defined sight picture in bright, high-glare conditions.
